Lakshmi Oils products contain absolutely NO Acids, Fillers, Bleaches, Chemicals, Detergents, Dyes or any other Synthetic Materials. All Lakshmi Oils products are made with 100% pure and natural ingredients. We use the finest quality oils renowned for their healing benefits, herbal oils (oils pressed from herbs), botanicals, botanical extracts, herbs, foods and pure essential oils. Most ingredients are organic.
What nutrients are in Lakshmi Oils face and body oils?

I’m concerned about hexane. What extraction methods are used to process the oils comprising the Lakshmi Oils collection?
Every oil we use to create our products are among the finest available. Our oils are unrefined (no bleaching, no deodorizing, no winterization) utilizing careful methods of extractions through expeller or cold press. We do NOT purchase oils from companies who employ the use of solvent, hexane or alcohol extraction, or processed through heat intensive hydraulic extraction because these methods of processing strip the oils of their natural goodness and are therefore relatively unhealthy oils lacking in nutritional properties. At Lakshmi Oils, we are extremely discriminating about the quality of our ingredients and we process our creations with the utmost regard for preserving the healing properties of the botanicals.
Lakshmi Oils contains herbal oils. What are these?
The herbal oils sourced by Lakshmi Oils are made from freshly gathered wildcrafted herbs or flowers that are infused in a base of certified organic olive oil for a minimum of 3 months. This process yields full bodied, naturally colored and exceptionally powerful, healing herbal oils.

Lakshmi Oils contain hydrosols. What are hydrosols and why do they work?
Hydrosols are also known as flower waters. Hydrosols are products made from the direct steam distillation of whole plant materials. This in NOT an essential oil added to water. Hence, distilled hydrosols contain all the beneficial components that the whole plant materials offer, and are true to the plant’s scent. Our hydrosols have been distilled in stainless steel cookers and processed through certified organic methods.
Hydrosols acidify the water; this is beneficial to the skin and body. Acidic environments are astringent and so hydrosols are useful in skin care products as astringents for the purpose of constricting and contracting the tissue (which is why they are effective for toning your pores).
